42.5m Explorer Ice Class Superyacht Offered for Sale, € 9,950,000

Explorer Ice Class

Camper & Nicholsons have been appointed as exclusive agents for this Karatas Yacht Design Explorer, to be built by Arkin Pruva.

Designed by Karatas Yacht Design, the 42.5m Explorer Ice Class is offered for sale at an unbeatable price. The Explorer Ice Class is a brand-new yacht, constructed in steel with an aluminum superstructure, and is the expedition vessel of the 21st century.

The Arkin Pruva shipyard, based in Turkey, has been building superyachts since 2006. Their extensive facilities allow them to build yachts up to 55m in length and the yard’s location in the Antalya Free Zone enables them to build and export yachts with VAT and tax exemptions, an advantage which has brought them clients from all around the world.

Known for their advanced engineering and award-winning naval architecture, Karata Yacht Design has created an ultra-modern 42.5m vessel with an eye-catching exterior profile and impressive performance capabilities.

This Explorer Ice Class features huge glass panels down the side of the main and upper deck, providing those on board with incredible, unencumbered views – a top priority for a yacht with go-anywhere cruising ability such as this.

The interior design has been conceived to offer a bright a zen-like ambience, but the styling can be completely customized to suit individual owner tastes and requirements.

The yacht is well suited to charter use and a fantastic selection of lifestyle amenities have been incorporated to the yacht’s design. Across the Explorer’s four decks, facilities include a gym, beach club and on-deck Jacuzzi, with additional options such as an aft deck pool available.

In total, the yacht has 650sq.m of guest living space and the layout provides accommodation for 12 guests in six suites, two of which are configured as master staterooms – one on the upper deck and one on the main deck. The remaining guest accommodation is found on the lower deck and comprises two VIP suites and two twin cabins.

On the main deck, a 90sq.m aft cockpit provides the space for extra tenders and toys to be carried, a large exterior lounge or an infinity-edged swimming pool. The main saloon is accessed via full-height glass doors and beyond the bar counter and open-plan lounge there’s a formal dining area. The first of the master staterooms is positioned towards the bow and this benefits from a private saloon and dining area, separate dressing room and full ensuite bath complete with Jacuzzi tub.

On the upper deck, a second master stateroom is found. The master stateroom’s bathroom and the yacht’s central lobby separate the suite from the wheelhouse, and the exterior deck space to aft can be shared with guests or given over to exclusive owner use. The teak decks wrap around and lead towards the bow, providing access to a forward-facing bench seat and table ahead of the bridge.

Topping the Explorer Ice Class is a flybridge of 102sq.m. There’s space for freestanding loungers to aft, a casual al fresco dining area and bar amidships, and a Jacuzzi forward.

The beach club at the yacht’s stern creates further deck space, and this provides easy access to and from the water.

The Explorer Ice Class has a 14-knot top speed and a range of 4,000nm at 9 knots.
